Youth Projects Completed
Below are lists of some of the Youth Projects we have completed since January 1st, 2024

1st Annual Family Sweetheart Ball - February, 2024
This community event was put on for local families to come out to enjoy a live DJ and dancing, games, family photos, raffles and giveaways, and concessions provided by a local youth sports organization.
The Giving Garden Foundation Shed Repair - February, 2024
Several members helped replace flooring in one of the can cottages in Gloucester County used to collect recyclable cans. The cans collected help raise funds for Gloucester & Mathews county cancer patients, including youth.
Operation Christmas Child - March, 2024
Several members again helped with this national organization event by collecting empty shoe boxes and wrapping them.
The Giving Garden Foundation - March, June, July 2024
Several members helped collect donated cans from a can cottage. The cans collected help raise funds for Gloucester & Mathews county cancer patients, including youth.
Home-Schooler's Music Club Keyboard Donation
Club member donated a keyboard to a local home-school music club to use for education purposes.
School Supply Kits - July 2024
Members put together and donated 53 supply kits to local elementary schools in Gloucester and Mathews.
In addition, we donated 26 school kits to the Avalon Center, an organization that works to help children in abusive situations.
BC United Outreach Community Festival - August 2024
For a backpack family activities day at the Abington Raritan Club, members helped out in backpack assembly and distribution.
Giving Garden Healing Garden Cleanup & Maintenance - September 2024
Several members placed a new memorial stone in the sidewalk, and did general maintenance and cleanup. The Healing Garden is a special site just outside of Woodville Park where families can go to remember and reflect on their loved ones.
Moose Lodge Haunted Trail - October 2024
Several members helped clean up the trail for this year's event, as volunteering to be staff, and part of the scares!
Giving Garden Can Recycling - October, November, December 2024
We've provided continued support to Giving Garden in 2024. In October, several members volunteered to help recycle cans, this time in the parking lot of Main Street Library.
Operation Christmas Child - Box Loading - November 2024
Several members volunteered to help load the wrapped shoeboxes into cartons for transport. There were thousands to go through!
Community Family Christmas Party - December 2024
On December 22nd, the club held a family Christmas party! It had food, games, decor, and more, and we were able to raise funds to donate pet food to Gloucester County Animal Control.
