Anyone who suspects that children are being abused or neglected may call anonymously to the local Department of Social Services or to the State Hotline 800-552-7096 which receives calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Child Abuse Prevention Projects Completed

School Kits & Cookie Supplies for MES - January 2025

As the club had extra supplies from the Family Christmas Party, we decided to donate them along with some school supplies to kindergarten and first grade classes at Mathews Elementary School.

Daffodil Festival - March 2025

Members cleaned up the Adopt-A-Spot, and placed our pinwheels and banner for Child Abuse Prevention. We also placed them at Abington, Brown Park, and the American Legion Post 75.

Activity Bags - April 2025

To commemorate Child Abuse Prevention month, the club got together to make bags full of activities and snacks for children. We made over 90 bags and 40 information packets for Gloucester's libraries, and 70 information packets for the Boys and Girls club!

Foster Care Angel Tree - December 2025

The Exchange Club supported three foster children with Christmas presents this year! This Angel Tree was located at Bill Hudgins Automotive.
